The First Steps Baby Expo was founded in 2008, in Central Minnesota, and our first event was held in April, 2009. The baby expo was born out of an epiphany, by our founder, while attending a bridal show with a friend. She was expecting, and while looking around at all the fuss surrounding planning a wedding – no doubt, a monumental event, in a person’s life, she asked silently, “why isn’t anyone talking to me?”

And so, it began – the First Steps Baby Expo! Now, Central Minnesota’s leading baby event, showcasing products and services for new, expectant and young families. The team behind the First Steps Baby Expo aims to bring together a diverse selection of exhibitors directed at growing families, maternity, infant and toddler markets. Our events are filled with family-fun activities, entertainment and educational opportunities for all to enjoy.
